KDK has been going through the history with Electric Fan. In 1913 KDK started to produce Electric Fan. It was the first alternate E-fan in Japan. In 1918 KDK E-Fans were exported to Asia, South America, Southern Ocean, Australia, and became the most famous top brand.
Today, the main product is Ventilating Fan. Range Hood, Air Curtain, Hand Dryer, Ceiling Fan, Dehumidifier and Air Moving Equipment are also provided.
KDK has grown up over long period of time in overseas market. In November 2004, “KDK” has been in business for 95years. KDK group continues to strengthen the relationship with community and provide high quality products for your comfortable life.
 

Why are KDK fan so quiet?
KDK fan are quiet for a number of reasons, including:

  • Tip Speed  KDK fan use a wide blower wheel that moves a large amount of air at reduced RPMs. The larger wheel plus lower RPMs, amounts to less tip speed and noise.  Double Suction Blower Wheel The blower wheel draws in air from both sides, so there's more area for the air to enter the wheel. This cuts down on noise and makes the ventilation process more efficient.
    Exhaust Outlet  The outlet on the discharge side of KDK fan is as wide as the blower wheel, allowing less turbulent airflow as it enters the duct. Quiet Motor KDK fan feature four pole condenser motors, which are an advanced version of a Permanent Split Capacitor (PSC) motor. The four pole design helps the fan rotate smoothly and evenly, making KDK motors among the most efficient fan motors around.

    What makes KDK fan so energy efficient?
    In terms of input wattage, KDK fan are among the lowest in the industry. This low wattage draw is accomplished in a number of ways, including:
    Unique Motor Design The fan condenser acts like a capacitor to store electrical energy and deliver it quickly and in exact amounts to the coil. This reduces the power draw, thus improving the electrical efficiency of the motor. Selective Application KDK builds its own fan motors and components, therefore optimizing efficiency by matching the exact motor characteristics with the desired performance of the fans. Wide Blower Wheel The wide blower wheel improves airflow efficiency, enabling the fan to operate at a lower RPM and reduce energy usage.

    Why do KDK fan have such a long life?
    KDK fan are designed to provide continuous operation for a minimum of 30,000 hours. They are actually designed to provide up to 100,000 hours of operation, but most fan haven't been around long enough to reach that goal in testing. Some fan however, have reached 60,000 hours of testing with virtually no wear on their components.

    The KDK Sensu comes with a mechanical ventilating system, model 15WHPA. It has an automatic flip-up shutters at 45º and is built to last.  The high quality condenser motor is equipped with thermal fuse – provide ample safety to end user and it comply to IEC standard.

    Besides the mechanical system, KDK Sensu also comes with a piece of Perspex measuring 700mm x 700mm and 330mm x 330mm respectively. The Perspex is an artwork itself. There are 3 attractive designs to choose from: landscape, contemporary and sensorial to jazz up your bathroom.  Besides jazzing up your bathroom as a piece of artwork, the KDK Sensu also gives you the added privacy you need to have a long luxurious shower or a Jacuzzi bath without having to close the windows.

    A set of spacers and wall plugs will be provided and the installation can be done by one person.
